Brok (He/Him) has a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Social work from the University of Utah. During his last year of schooling, Brok worked in a school-based setting where he served children and families of different backgrounds and emotional and behavioral health issues. Brok has experience working both internationally and stateside with various populations and ages. Brok has worked in school-based therapy, adolescent day-treatment, nonprofits and as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana.

Brok specializes in work with children and adolescents. His goal is to create a healthy and safe therapeutic environment where he can help his clients identify barriers and find solutions that help them improve their lives. He believes that the client is the expert of their own life, and utilizes this to help his clients find solutions that work for them. Brok’s style is collaborative and utilizes strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mind-Body Bridging.

Brok was born and raised in Utah. He is an advocate for social justice and change. Brok is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, backpacking and an occasional ice climb. When he is not out and about in the mountains or desert, he enjoys creating art, traveling to new places, spending time with family and friends and taking care of his plants and dog.
