Lindsey Nordin

Therapist, LCSW

Lindsey Nordin, LCSW (She/Her) is a dedicated mental health professional specializing in adolescent well-being and emotional resilience. With a strong passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, Lindsey empowers adolescents to build confidence, foster personal growth, and cultivate a strong sense of self.

She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Utah, where she also obtained a certificate in positive psychology. This field emphasizes strengths, resilience, and well-being, focusing on helping individuals enhance happiness, purpose, and personal development rather than solely addressing dysfunction. Lindsey integrates these principles into her therapeutic work, guiding adolescents toward emotional health and a positive outlook.

Lindsey continued her education at the University of Southern California, where she earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) with an emphasis on children, youth, and families; graduating with honors. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with adolescents, assisting them in overcoming trauma and improving emotional regulation.

Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Lindsey utilizes evidence-based approaches to provide personalized care. She applies CBT to challenge negative thought patterns, DBT to enhance emotional regulation and coping strategies, and EMDR to help process trauma.

With a compassionate, client-centered approach, Lindsey creates a supportive environment where adolescents can heal, grow, and develop the tools necessary to thrive. She is committed to helping young individuals build resilience, improve their relationships, and confidently navigate life’s challenges.
