SHE/HER

Therapist | CMHC

I believe the therapeutic relationship and connection are some of the most important tools in therapy and aim to utilize compassion and caring to create genuine connections with each of my clients. I strive to engage from a trauma informed, ally based, and multicultural perspective in all my interactions and enjoy using various techniques to support clients in their healing journey. With me, I bring years of experience working in trauma and crisis settings including: Salt Lake County’s MCOT team, Davis County’s Crisis Response Team, and various trauma healing centers.

My experience includes working with a variety of needs, including: depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, attachment, LGBTQIA+, ADHD, grief/loss, and allyship/activism. I believe in personalizing my approach to each individual and their needs, while integrating evidence based techniques such as: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Feminist Multicultural Therapy (FMT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotional Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) , and Mindfulness. I hope to use connection and creativity to support each of my clients along their personal healing journey.

In my free time, I love anything and everything outdoors. You will either find me on an adventure with my loved ones and two dogs (Axil and Kaiya) or experimenting in the kitchen as I love to feed the people in my life.
